TRAKpod Brochure V1.00

The rover connects wirelessly to the base via a mesh network, and also enables a Bluetooth connection for local tracking. The rover requires 5VDC power, and an optional vehicle docking station is available to accept 12V DC vehicle power. The docking station is also hard mountable to provide a stable platform, which helps with the short term dead reckoning.

The wireless mesh radio has a line of sight range of 5km node to node; using the radios in Mesh configuration means that the correction range can extend beyond immediate line of sight by re-transmitting between rovers. The base station correction could also be transmitted to the rovers via an LTE device using the Bluetooth connection.

  • Bluetooth for wireless connectivity
  • Internal Battery
  • Mounting dock for 12VDC power supply and wired connectivity
  • Built-in Data logging

BASE STATION FEATURES:
