OptoNav is designed to augment RTK GPS position, heading and attitude at centimetre accuracy level in semi-controlled environments. Typically position accuracies are in the order of centimetres while heading, pitch and roll can be measured to hundredths of a degree.

OptoNav can be used to augment RTK GPS in harsh environments where cycle slips and loss of base station data cause loss of valid position data. OptoNav adds confidence to positioning by augmenting GPS with totally different technology. Unlike RTK GPS OptoNav excels in environmentally cluttered locations that cause GPS to perform badly.

• Depending on configuration position and attitude can be <0.005 metres and <0.01 degrees (RMS).
• Cameras are configurable to different light conditions while the operator has traffic light safety notification
