NovAtel’s OEMStar is our lowest cost, high performance L1 GNSS receiver. Easy to integrate at only 46 mm x 71 mm, and weighing just 18 grams, the OEMStar:

Ease of integration
The OEMStar is easy to integrate into new and existing systems and an ideal choice for both weight and size constrained applications. It accepts an input voltage between 3.3 and 5.0 VDC and consumes less than 550 mW of power.
Multi-constellation Performance
GPS+GLONASS positioning and measurements are used in combination with GPS data to provide increased satellite availability for positioning in challenging environments at a very cost-effective price. The OEMStar provides 14 channels of combined L1 GPS and GLONASS code and carrier phase tracking. Channels can be tailored to suit individual customer requirements, by using a software command. Position, velocity and time information is available at up to 10 Hz, with a 1 PPS accuracy of <20 ns. In addition, OEMStar supports NovAtel's Pulse Aperture Correlator (PAC) technology which optimizes performance in high multi-path environments.
OEMStar Model Variants: DGPS Support and Right-Angle Connector
The OEMStar is available in four models that support the transmission of DGPS code corrections. These models are available in GPS and GPS + GLONASS versions, and support 1Hz and 10Hz data rates. Customer can utilize these models to develop low-cost base station applications for transmitting DGPS code corrections. OEMStar DGPS supporting models are available at the card level or in the new FlexPak-G2 enclosure for those customers looking for a rugged integrated solution.
The OEMStar right-angle RF connector variant of the OEMStar is well suited for those customers who have tighter space restrictions within their product design. The right angle connector allows the antenna cable to be plugged into the side of the card thus reducing overall integration height.
