FSL have developed a number of position, heading and attitude packages based on the CPUPak-4 or alternatively as a kit. Sticking to the CPUPak-4 approach there are several models:

CPUPak-4PH – The last two letters “PH” stand for Pitch and Heading
CPUPak-4PHR – The last three letters “PHR” stand for Pitch, Heading and Roll
CPUPak-4PHRi – The letter “i” stands for Inertial

The CPUPak-4 runs different versions of Waypoint’s RtkNav software for two or three GPS receivers inside the housing. Antennae can be fitted for optimum sky-view and the vehicle or vessel body alignments calibrated. Typical GPS only dynamic heading accuracies using dual frequency antennae are in the order of 0.05 degrees (RMS) dependant upon baseline length while GPS derived pitch and roll are approximately 0.1 degrees (RMS)

The inertial version, CPUPak-4PHRi typically gives heading and pitch/roll accuracies of 0.05 and 0.035 degrees (RMS) regardless of baseline length

FSL can offer systems ready-built or in kit form for assembly.
